Veils & Driver's Licenses. Okay, notwithstanding that the DMV is Satan's empire. I have a couple of things to say about the lady in Florida who is protesting the DMV's rule that her picture must show her face.

I say, you have two choices... show your face, or don't drive.

If it is against your religion to show your face that's fine, I respect that (although I think it's ridiculous), however, in this country the standard procedure is that your face is the normal, accepted mode of identification. If you don't want to comply by the rules... then you don't get to drive. And if you think that's unacceptable, you know what? You can buy a plane ticket to some other country(and just hope that your cousin hasn't chosen that plane for a suicide mission).

What's that you say? She used to have a drivers license with a veiled picture, and there was no problem? Only after 9/11 did they start cracking down? Well, you know what I say to that?... The world CHANGED on that day! Which means the rules changed. I'm sorry, but if you have a problem with it, you should have discussed it with your fellow Muslims before they decided to change the world.
