Gun Totin' NRA Members. Today I went to the shooting range with my dad and sister (both members of the NRA). It was fun. My dad has a couple of .22s that we shot. One is a copy of a Ruger, with a 8 shot clip. The other is a copy of the Old-West style colt six-shooters. We bought some targets (some bull's eyes, and some silhouettes) and we rented two lanes, then went to town. We shot at 20ft., 50ft. and 75 ft. The 75 ft. targets you could hardly see... well okay, maybe not that far away, but with a little hand-gun it was challenging. So my dad has had guns his whole life, and was on the rifle team in high-school. When he went in the Army, his first rifle test, he scored the highest level (Marksman I think, or Expert or something). So the cool thing is that between me, my 25 yr. old sister, and my dad who's in his mid 70's... He still shoots the best. His groupings are tight, and he hardly ever has flyers. Anyway it was fun. A nice way to spend an hour with your dad...
